working hard on my sunday serman. what did Jesus look like? a lot of people wander that don’t they? i’m going to talk about the work of renowned historical refomatter Cecilia Gimenez who has begun work on reformatting historicaly inaccuraete images of jesus to make them look more like biblical descriptin. You may be familiar with her celebrated work in the town of borja near dubuque. jimenz is basing her work on Isaiah 53:2. Please have all of isayah read by sunday. and remember this will be a contemporary service. children are not allowed and all earing devices must be confiscated! thansk and have a blessid day all! That last congregation whined a lot! I’m glad your brother are them, Rev. The wasn’t worshiping The Lord right.
There has been a good deal of discussion about these paintings. Was she guided by the hand of God? Is she a contemporary genius? I think it’s time we all stop beating around the bush here and agree that this woman really is just a very bad painter and should be jailed.
